The Predator Gasser is in development as we speak. I'm not going to mention any release dates but I will say "good things come to those who wait"!
From a historical standpoint gasoline powered helis have been a tad to heavy and underpowered for hardcore 3D. But, today's generation gas motors are producing more power than ever before and heli technology has gone up considerably. So, I personally believe that we will see some breakthoughs in the not so distant future in gas powered full blown 3D machines. I myself an eagerly anticipating this as the sound, cleanliness, and reduced operating costs is VERY appealing. Are they quick in 3D manuevers? Well, current gas helis are not AS quick and require a more finessed effort in some maneuvers.
Is it worth the price owning a gasser? I'll let others speak as I don't own one. But, from what I have heard the Predator Gasser is going to turn things upside down from a cost standpoint just like it's doing in the 60/90 market.
