After I finished Freya Flybarless Project, I also started Lepton Flybarless Project.

What I bought to make the ball to the centre of the hub were
1. Hirobo H9.5mm ball with stand (2525-012)
2. Hirobo M2 hole 6mm tall collar
3. spacers 1mm
4. 25mm long M2 screws
5. Hirobo 45mm long pushrod(from Freya HPM kit)

It comes to 16.5mm long to the centre of the yoke.
To get rid of the flybar and cage, it saves 55g.
Switching from 611 to VBAR, it saves up 44g.

I just made 2 flights on Sunday because it started raining ... it flied much more power with the same Kontronik motor. It flipped and rolled very fast.

Its weight is ~100g less with flybarless setup.

I will make more flights this week before I go to Atlanta and if possible, see if someone can take movie for me.

Looks good. I am looking to do the same thing and trying to decide between gyrobot 700 or the Vbar.

Anyway, can you list the part# for the hirobo parts?

What did you do to fix the washout in that position. I have seen other post where someone use small diameter fuel tubing onto the pins to keep the washout up.

Also, I know you are running the 64T pulley. Are you also running the extended tail boom and the CF tail blades?

Thanks for your help.

In my opinion, Mikado VBAR V4.0 is the way to go. It is a well-known/approved and well developed products in the market with much lower price now.

Regarding the washout, I simply drill 2 M3 holes on each side and then use M2 set screws to fix the position against the bottom of the center hub.

The Hirobo part numbers I don't have much on hand. I forgot to copy down the numbers before I put them in the garbage. Some of them I just looked around the hobby shops and picked them up from the display. I will check the part numbers back again ... but it will take a while.(When I found the number, I will update at the 1st post.)

Yes, I am running 64T + sketched CF kit + KBDD 70mm plastic tail blade.

after studying the dimension of Logo400/500 head. I guess some ratios of the rotorhead and the swashplate ... the numbers are just what I guess ...

Do you know if the dogbones on MIK4168 Swashplate Driver for V-Bar head, dia. 8mm would fit the lepton swashplate balls?
