I have just satrted kitting out a set of mechanics to go in an Augusta 109, does anyone have any photos of the servo wiring layout they have used. I am concerned that either the wiring is near the gears/shafts or too near the exhaust.

Tim do you double the servo leads back on them selves and bring them out through the servo opening that the servo is in on the left hand frame?

Any other tips with the construction, Martin has been very helpfull and I got the complete Unistar 2000 heli from him as the donor mechanics. Intend to set them up fully and then fit them into the body.

Hi DWyn, I will get the heli out of storage later and have a look. I tried to find some photos but none where any help.

There are a couple of tips I can give you, are you going to use the wire drive?

Tim,

I intend to use the wire drive at the moment. And will probably use a 4 bladed Robbe head and Vbar stabaliser.

The instructions will mention the curve in the tail drive shaft.
