Hi guys, posting a few photos of my recently completed Chinook. It has flown without the body, just waiting for a suitable day to try it with the body on.
Have also added some photos of my Twinn Rexx which fly's great.

Thanks Tow, yes I did. I agonised over it for quite some time, I wanted to get away from camouflage colours but I wanted something that was military. One that took my fancy was a US Army Chinook based in Alaska (22280), so it’s sort of based on that one with some modifications to my likeing.

Hi Micheal,

Just about to paint my fuselage for my Twinn Rexx, just have a few questions before I go ahead painting.

How did you make the windows? Masking tape? Liquid masking? how did you get it so round? I'm using masking tape for mine, the Tamiya ones.

Also how did you attach the engines on to your fuse? Magnets? glue?

Thanks for the comments, I used vinyl for th windows and cut them out using a round paper punch, just sprayed painted over the top and removed the vinyl after it was nice and dry.

Thanks for the reply, did you use vinyl for all the windows? Or just the circular windows? Did you use the templates off the Twinn rexx website? Vinyl easy to peel off?

Yes, vinyl for all the windows, and yes it peels off easily. By the way I did use magnets to hold the engines on.

Nice Looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really do like the "Hook" paint job.... very nicely done....
You will find it a LOT easier to see while flying, in the fuselage too... without it, it can really be tough... Good Luck with it and hope we get to see a little video of it in the air!!!

The little guy looks pretty cool too..... does it fly well???? I was thinking maybe for indoors!!!!! Can you have too many tandems???

Stan
