yep same problem here. Just drilled the canopy holes a little lower and that moved it up enough to not touch any more and gives a little more room under the canopy for battery.
Mine rubs on one side if the canopy isn't centred in the lower canopy clip - might be worth checking that before you drill unnecessary holes in your canopy.
