The reason you get the same drift on the next flight is because the 401 will cancel the trim on start up, in other words when the gyro initializes it takes the position of your rudder and makes that the center position, therefore your now trimmed rudder position is now the center and will introduce the drift.
You need to mechanically adjust your tail blades to take out the drift, to do this you have to take the gyro out of heading hold and determine which way its drifting. Then you counter it by adjusting each tail blade into the direction of drift. Then when you get that all sorted out, you will have no drift while in HH.
