Looks like BP Hobbies (www.bphobbies.com) has the ARK 500 available for $175 minus motor and ESC. It does include an all metal head though. Seems like a pretty good price to me, but the quality of my ARK 400 has left a bad taste in my mouth. Anyone know if the 500 is any better? I am looking at this as an alternative to the T-Rex 500 because it's cheaper.

By time you buy a Motor and esc you might as well buy the trex 500 kit. Better yet check out the new HC 500 from HeliDirect.com

G-10 kit will cost you $330 comes with all metal head, metal tail, motor and C.F. blades.

Check it out

HC 500

I agree with Altima...Get the HC 500..

It's a killer flying heli for cheap money...it cost me about 1/2 as much to build my HC 500 as my Flybarless trex 500...and honestly...I like the HC 500 more....

Here's what they look like built
