I remember TSK helis. They had beautifully machined parts and anodising. I think TSK made camera parts like lense casings.

Would either of you have an uncut fan shroud for a Blackstar? I think it is the same as the Mystar 60
Thanks

Hey you wouldn't happen to be the infamous Phil Noel would you?
How much shipped to 02379 in the US, and do you have any Blackstar parts?
Thanks
Alan

GMP - there used to be a lot of TSK helis here bouts. But all from the MyStar series.

They were some of my favorite helis of all time.

Yep, that's me. I now spend most of my forum time in the Century and gasser forums here on RR.

I will check on the shipping on Monday.

Sorry, we never sold the Blackstar so the only parts we would probably have would be any that where common with the MyStar series.

RQ-1B

Those pictured bring back a lot of good memories.

I see your Mystar 30 uses the C/F frames. TSK never made them in Japan. I believe they were substituted by QWW here in the USA.

I got my Mystar 30 on a trip to Japan. I later got the C/F frame set for it from Irwin, as I did for my M46. I did not keep them on for very long as I found they flexed a lot more then did the dtock aluminum ones through the more demanding flight maneuvers. This cause a lot of clutch problems and resulted in less optimum gyro settings then I couls get with the aluminum frames. Consequently I re-installed the ali frames on them.

I also stopped using his spindles because they were much softer then the stock ones and could easily be bent in flight.

THe gasser flew nice but needed longer blades then were readily available at that time. I found it to be a slug on 680's (I was using them on my MinAir gasser and they worked fine, but not so on the TSK.) When I installed 720's it came to life.

But now compared to my Predator gasser it is a real slug...but again so is the MinAir X-Cell gasser relative to the Preddy.
