Since I can't seem to buy a Xera (out of stock for 1 month), what other make would you recommend that is in the similar power and price range? I plan to use it in the following ship:

-1500 to 1650 RPM Headspead
-7:1 gear ratio
-720mm blade
-10s lipo
-about 16 to 17 lb AUW

I believe I need a 400 to 450KV motor.

Thanks,

Pat L

If I could not source a Xera the only option I'd consider is an Actro.

I have a 24-5 that can haul 16lb heli around all day long at 110 degree ambient on 10s.

Even I would love to have a Xera , looks like they 've very limited quantity and I don't know if I am on the list.

What choice do I have in 400KV range (6mm) for my AP ship

a) actro 415kv
b) new scorpion 4035-400kv

anything else ?

Xera or Actro are the only motors I would run in my ships.

How about the new Actro 32-4 Max?

Avail in 5 or 8 mm shafts.
