Lost Starter

Did anyone find a starter (black with a Thunder Power 4 cell Lipo, Home made aluminum bracket to secure the battery, and a purple start wand with a hole drilled thru the shaft and a cotter key installed. A pilot asked Alan is they could use it, but never saw of it again.

Thanks

Sorry to hear about your starter Alan, I can understand the feeling. I am missing a 401 gyro myself. It seems someone lifted it from my tool box from the amainhobbies booth. I guess there are some people that need the equipment more than we do. ( i hope the gyro takes a poop!)

going to all these funflys you see abandoned $200-300chargers with tons of batteries just as expensive and I think how wonderful the people in this hobby are that they can leave the stuff without worrying about it. it is a shame to here about people stealing stuff there, they should be locked up for a few years.

Awesome videos. I thought Jamie should have won first though. Nick was flying a lot harder at IRCHA. Nice flights by all!

Really wish I could have been there this year.

And to the scum that stole from the event... Beware, people in this hobby are nice but we are still real people and will put the smack down on some punk bitches !

Pilot Commentary

I was just watching Bert Kammerer's vid and he was wearing a mic! How do these guys have the reserve brain power to talk when they are flying like that. I think it's really nice to hear the pilots comment on what they are doing and the condtion while they are flying. Almost like they are real people and not heli flying robots!

It's cool to spot for the really good pilots. Whenever I'm spotting for Bobby Watts, Matt Botos or Bert Kammmerer, they can carry on a pretty good conversation without it phasing them. I guess they've all hit the point where it is just natural; no thinking needed.
