I burned 36 HD videos to a dvd and spent yesterday evening watching on the big screen LCD tv. Doesn't get much better than that. I'm really enjoying the 3 minute flights vs. the 5-6 minute flights we've become used to these past few years. I think they've proven you can do just about every move possible in 3 minutes.

I was Spektrum when Spektrum wasn't cool

Are they tasty?
No! Tough, stringy and gamey. Emergency food only -- but they are fun to (gently) harass with an R50 carrying a lightweight camcorder.

Cottontails aren't bad with the right seasoning, but in the desert they're rare and at Bennett they're unheard of, even between Fun Flys.

I was wondering what it is like LOSING to a 6 year old kid.

When he flies as good as Justin, I would think no different than losing to anyone else.

Now that being said, I am 46, and Justin is 6, that gives me a good 40 years on the kid, but I think it would take me another 40 years of flying just to get to his level now!

Hmmmmmm, maybe I can take up something easier like basket weaving!

Hey Justin, I challenge you to, um, let's see, how about arm wrestling???

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
Hope she doesn't outfly me soon!

Well Charlie....if you were there 'flying', you could have seen for yourself. Justin has some great talent. He is going to be someone to contend with in the future at his progression rate.

Had a great time over there. It was good to hang out with everyone and meet a few new friends. I had problems with tuning the YS for flying in that type of air/altitude, could not get the power out of it that I needed. Additionally, I had problems tuning myself as well. I just wasn't with it. Oh well, have to do more practicing for next time. Flying in front of not only a crowd, but being judge by some of the best in the world, is enough to rack your nerves as well.

Many lessons learned, but valuable experiences to work on also. Thanks to Rockie and Alan Szabo Sr. for a excellent event.

Lost Starter

Did anyone find a starter (black with a Thunder Power 4 cell Lipo, Home made aluminum bracket to secure the battery, and a purple start wand with a hole drilled thru the shaft and a cotter key installed. A pilot asked Alan is they could use it, but never saw of it again.

Thanks

Just watched a TON of these videos.

Gotta say, I really enjoyed Justin Chi's 700 video. This kid has gotten really good over the past few years. Even the difference from last year to this year is incredible.

The rolling circles were really nice and level, up into the death spiral was sweeeet!

Good Going Justin!

It doesn't look like it since it is not in yellow on the events calendar.
