| daytona7 Senior Heliman | Not a crash By the way. I don't really consider them crashes. More like stupidety and carelessness since I had been planning on heading home or inside. | ||

| Super Chief Heliman | A good landing you can walk away from. A great one & the aircraft can be reused. | ||

| floop Veteran | I go by this crash 1 (krsh)v. crashed, crash·ing, crash·es v.intr. 1. a. To break violently or noisily; smash. b. To undergo sudden damage or destruction on impact: Their car crashed into a guardrail. The airplane crashed over the ocean. 2. To make a sudden loud noise: breakers crashing against the rocks. 3. To move noisily or so as to cause damage: went crashing through the woods.Basically this means if it doesn't make a loud noise it isn't a crash. And if the damage isn't from an impact it isn't a crash. So tip overs are not a crash because it wasn't a sudden impact with the earth. Unless of coarse, the tip over made a loud noise in which case it is a CRASH!.Thanks IT's what I do. | ||

| tivopro Senior Heliman | Well, does landing in the water count as a crash? The only loud noise is when it goes KAPLUNK in the water. | ||

| djrformcar Senior Heliman | I'd dump the CP, they are just waiting to break again even if your not flying them! I work once in a blue moon at a LHS and they asked me if they should get any more CP or other cheap helie's, I think in the long run they case more people any form the hobbie then they help. We sold a lot of parts though! In full scale helie, a tip-over is a called a static rollover, not a crash, but if you have ever seem one you'd call it a crash because that chopper isn't flying any where fast! | ||

| ThermoSTS Heliman | Not a crash? I had a "static rollover" this morning on takeoff with my 450. I set the heli down got the blades spinning gave it some throttle and it just leaned over to the right. Blades stopped instantly but I could hear the motor still running. Hit throttle hold and tried to figure out what happened. I’m guessing I gave it too much throttle to fast and sheared the main gear bolt. I have a nick in one blade, broken grip link and a bent feathering shaft ohh yea and 3 pieces of a bolt. The one skid never left the ground so it can't be a crash right? I didn't even get to fly it. | ||
