i like to change from a 8 cell nicad to a 3 cell lipo but bevore i do that i want to change the pinion on my twist 37 motor to avoid overheating (read they are sensitive for that)
so where can i get pinions that are in the 13 tooth range that fit the eolo

thanks

I use a 14 or 15 tooth on mine. You should be able to get them from Midland Helicopters. They do a variety of pinion sets. I've been using 14 (or 15) tooth pinion with the Twist (got three of them) and not burned a motor out yet.

You'll certainly appreciate to difference going to lipos. Wish I'd gone 4S lipo!

According to the instructions for the Ecureuil scale fuselage kit which I'm currently building.

"If you intend to fit a 3S2P 11.1C Li-Poly battery in the Spirit M-8 / Pro / SE mechanics, it is essential to fit the 15-tooth motor pinion, No. S5112"

I can confirm that with this combination the twist 37 barely gets warm.

Hope this helps
