So I am thinking very seriously about making my next machine be an Avro. I am however curious as it appears this one has been out for sometime why Blitz has not come up with another kit like a 50 or an electric? Is there talk out there of them doing something?

Thanks

Blitz is not a big company. And Neal really likes to pay attention to detail when it comes to designing and mantaining a rc heli(competition). And as far I know, he wants to make sure that the helicopter is almost perfect. But you are better off, asking the questiong to Neal. He can tell you if he has any plans.

Since I converted mine to electric and was trading e-mails, he told me he was designing an electric this year.

Yes it is

They tend to play there cards very close to their chests, but the next thing out will be an electric version of the present Avro.

If we pester Blitz enough for a 50, then who knows

I'd have one for sure

I would be very excited at both the electric and a 50 size. I can respect wanting to sell a good product and therefore making sure it is perfect. I just was surprised that they have this product out for somewhere around 3 years maybe more and nothing had come from them since. I have only been in the hobby for about year and in that time align is reproducing like rabbits.

You gotta remember that Align are using their mass production techniques learned from there other products

They concentrate on large production runs which keeps the price low, but the quality is lower too

Avro is a handful of people and from the off they wanted to offer a customer service that is 2nd to none, and offer a 1st class product from the off

The Avro first went on sale end of July 2007, so still a very young company, and long may it continue

Neal didn't say, just ask if I would be interested in giving him a hand in the design. But if Bond007 says it is a 90 then it must be, he is for sure closer to Blitz than I.

I fear a 50 might be some time away

Heard a rumour about a machine designed purely for 3D, but can't see this happening either

I hope I'm wrong on both counts
