rcman,
Yes, the Scorpion motor shaft is too short to invert the pinion.

What does best mean to you? Best for flying, best for weight, best for crashing, best for flight time? everyone has a different opinion of which is best, the best is what you like

I do believe you cannot beat the Suzi-hans with anything else out there. The reason is the weight savings and customizability to end up with what you want in the end. By being lighter, what that does for you is gain you more power and longer flight times. I have run a lot of different conversion kits for T-rex 700's and I would say that Suzi-Hans is the best out there. Both, KDE, Ray's little deal and HeliChris’s frames all look very nice work pretty well I just prefer the Suzi-hans because of how it feels in the air.

Truly if you look at the Suzi-Hans kit you really don't need to purchase a full T-rex 700 kit really you only use the whole tail section, main gear assembly the rest can be whatever you what you use rather it be Align or after market. A truly customizable heli that fly’s very well.

Hey all, I'm not to familiar with the whole flybarless world and electronics yet but I just have a small question. Why does this frame only allow for a FBL head. What would cause that to not work with a flybar head? I'm going to be building a 700e in the near future and really love this frame. I just have never even flew a FBL heli or know anything about the set up. That would suck if I can't get this frame because of that. Should I just step into the light and try out the FBL system with this frame? Otherwise I might just get the cheap $75 conversion kit at first and then transfer to the FBL head and the Suzi Hans frame. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I don't think you can get the servo throws needed for flybarred with the Suzi Hans conversion. I overheard someone else ask that question and that is what the answer was. Maybe someone here knows for sure.

Did your keyboard come with that big bottle of Haterade?

I just didn't understand how the frame could make a difference in that? How much of a difference in servo throw is there? This whole FBL biz is all new to me. I really like that frame! Thanks for the info!

I don't know the reasoning behind it exactly that is just what I heard from someone who knows a lot about these things. I do know that it uses direct servo linkages instead of bellcranks like the stock one. Maybe that is why you can't get enough throw. Not sure exactly.
