Well i was not going to post this due to my own stupidity.
I felt I should have know better but was looking for a JR-X9309
I seen them going for around $400 to $500 and thought the price was about right. I checked her (southernflyer1 17) feed back not much there and i always look to see how long they have been on RR. she was not a new-B.. Any way I bit hook line and sinker. The DCN was not valid and i'm pretty sure it is not going to be been sent some other way like UPS, I have made alot of buys without any worries for the long time VET's and Seinor"S helimen and women but I'm out the $500
Anyone know this gal please post on it

Add Classified Feedback		Rule of thumb, always and ONLY pay with PAYPAL. If that's how you paid, open a dispute with Paypal, they will hold the funds until a resolution is met. If she doesn't reply you will get your money back, if she replies but can't provide a valid tracking ID, you will get your funds.

Key to resolving issues with shipped items is that if you didn't get an item and the person who shipped it can't prove they did, you will get your money back. Same thing when returning items back, ship with tracking ID, if you don't and the person decides to screw you over, you're out of money including what you paid to ship it back.

Do just once what others say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their limitation

Add Classified Feedback		Hold you horse there... I am one of those users who choose to not fill out every sigle detail of my life in the profile, yet I have completed number of trade here on RR and never scaming any one.

Beside if you actually think everyone is truthful about their profile, you may be surprise to find there are a few that would list helis that they never owned...

When it comes to trading on RR, I try my best not post specific information about my life, location, etc. Sometime it is unavoidable. This is to protect my other important things in my life, such as Family.

However, if the other party ask in PM, I will always provide my cell phone number in PM. Call me crazy, since my day job involvs in Information Security including personal identity security management, I am always very careful on what kind of personal information I choose to release on the cyber space.

30 days yda yda.. They will do what they can. But if the other person will not respond to them, what can you do. I got a cell # got the name and adress of the person all false... Now the number is no longer in service.???

pointing... Remmember when you point at someone you have three fingers pointing back at you. I should have gone with my gut feeling.

Yes I'm but I will except some of the responsibility. I will stick to the Vets and the Seniors I feel much safer...

Although Paypal is still the preferred method of payment it still has it loopholes. One such loophole is if you open a dispute, the seller has to have the funds in his/her account in order for them to put a hold on it, so in essence if you paid 500.00 and the seller only has 50.00 in there PP account look to get back that amount, 50.00. Paypal can not go into individuals bank accounts and debit the funds. So right there, you see the problem

Sorry I'm pissed.. I know times are tough but 500 bucks is alot of money.

PP should make you wait at least 10 days before the money can be accessed. I acted on this with in 5 days.

Thanks guys. I know I felt bad reading all the other post about people getting scammed and wished I could do something, or wished I knew or lived close to that person so I could say something to them.

Add Classified Feedback		a lot of us have been scammed, it sucks, you say you will only deal with seniors and veterans, but you are listed as new heliman yourself! any one at anytime could rip ya off. I try to chat, give out my phone #, anything to gather info before paying, or selling. money is too hard to come by, to have some body take it and not what you bought. Karma will get most of them, but that does not put the money back your pocket!

Add Classified Feedback		I was burned one time from an ebay crook. I was selling a nintendo ds. This guy buy it and payed for it, and i ship it to him. He received the item and i spend his money. A week later he filed some claim and paypal reverse the fund from my account and he got his money back. Even though i had already spend his money and my paypal was zero balance at the time he filed the dispute, he was able to get his money back. What happen to me was i ended up in a negative balance. I had to add fund to paypal account to put it to a zero status otherwise it would cummulate interest on me for having it on a negative balance. I did not use delivery confirmation or tracking to prove i shipped the item, so i was at a loss. The crook ran away with the item and got his money back.
A lesson learned.

i think he filled a dispute with his credit card or bank stating that it was an unauthorize purchase and they took the funds back from paypal and as a result paypal put me in a negative balance.

yet, till this day, i still have less than perfect transaction all the time. even on runryder.

my advice is to establish proper communication with the seller/buyer and set a standard trading strategy to protect your self from the buyer/seller. If something dont feel right just back out, there will aways be another bettter deal comming along. Probably not the best advice out there, but it does lessen your chance with a scam artist.

a valueble lesson doesn't have to involve loosing money, sweat or tears.

Add Classified Feedback		I seem to recall this ad. Said she had the X9303 and a Spartan gyro. She made a post and complained that everybody was low balling her. Might have been on the other board. I also recall the ad being closed and an initial statement saying the reason for selling was that she was entering the military. Don't look to Paypal for help. As long as they get their %, that's all they care about. I also believe they will only cover losses if it is ebay related and the transaction can be referenced to an ebay ad/auction. Tough situation to be in man. I guess we all get to be a little complacent and trusting on here and that's what this person was probably counting on.
