Who's to BLAME?

1) one billion who want part of the "good life" by working for two-bits an hour;
2) unsuspecting consumers who want a deal on a knock-off;
3) companies and distributors without integrity who flog crap, seeking a "performance bonus".

One perspective from a retiree whose pension investments have "tanked".

well I agree with all of the real Vibe 50 owners in saying that even though it happens all the time in this hobby of ours I think that it is wrong and should be punishable if someone or company steals or uses your design for there prophetablity. It might not be a exact match but the overall picture its a damn near perfect match and i personaly think that JR should do somthing about it. I know they wont but they should.IMHO

Ya know USN, those Illegal aliens you like so much are sucking the welfare/medical ERs/school systems dry on the backs of "educated people" that pay taxes.

I hate the idea that the US is a consumer economy and we have twits like Nancy Pelosi promising Illegals a free ride, break our US immigration laws and amnesty access into our SSN system. She should be tried for treason.

Thats all right... once China calls our debt in, we all will be on welfare I think.

So those with cushy Union jobs getting a bailout on my tax dime enjoy them while they last. I really should take a mandarin language class

Carry on JS with your ripped off vibe clone. We will keep sending our RC heli designs over to china for manufacture and get back poisoned drywall, or pet food, lead painted toys, or hell whatever ya want to send us...We will buy it!

All I can say is that I love my genuine JR Vibe 50. It was one of the most enjoyable builds I've ever experienced and everything fit like a glove.

I'm about to start on Vibe 50 #2 and I'm looking forward to it.

Based on past experience, Horizon service is excellent should any problems arise.

I never seem to have as much time for the hobby as I'd like so for me the few extra dollars invested in the real McCoy is well worth it.

I wouldn't consider trading my Vibe 50 for any other 50 machine on the market today.

Heres what I think,at the field your most likely going to have a variety of helis. Some people will have hirobo,some will have align,some JR,and they'll even be somebody there with that cheap 50$ walkera heli. But guess what,the heli guys always seem to form a small circle to chat and get along reguardless of what their flying.

This guy can afford a vibe 50,but this guy can only afford a TZ..who cares? Throwing fits like these is not what the hobbys all about. Shareing,helping,and haveing a blast is what this hobbys all about. And IMO if you think differently I think you should find a new hobby,like flying planks. If you do however dont take that advice,heres what I have to say.....Let the flying do the talking Theres NO DOUBT the TZ could put on just as impressive of a flight as the vibe,even though its a copy.

Haveing said that though the TZ is pretty much a Vibe 50 with less quality,JS even sells the radio mount and gyro mount that looks just like the vibe. Although many parts cant be swapped almost ALL of this heli is a complete knock off,The frame design and head are EXACTLY like the Vibe 50,even though the parts are not interchangable,its obvious that they copied the Vibe 50 in almost every way.

The tail Is copied as well,except from the Raptor. Gohbee (JS) originally came out with a raptor 50 clone (stinger 50) and the tail was a direct copy,But then they came out with super grips which were copied from hirobo..So basically they have a raptor tail section with hirobo tail grips.

VooDooX,I have seen many post by you,and sorry to say but your just an a$$ And I seriously hope you dont cut into any of my threads when I have any questions about the TZ (yes im getting one)..I do hope that you someday grow up and benifit this hobby,But until then.................

Ghia,
Nowhere did I say I liked the illegal's... hey I think we should have a "Berlin Wall" with razor wire and machine guns the entire length of the border.. I just said if hes that worried about them taking his jobs maybe hes the problem.

Tank.. good post.. and no except for the obnoxious ones I would never ever get on someones case about what they fly.. do I disagree with supporting these companies that feed off others..
F*)(& yes.. do I take it out on the consumer for doing so? nope..

I just wish something could be done legally against those companies.

I got into the hobby to have fun flying heli's. And man am I having fun. The TZ flies awesome and if the quality is so bad then why does it fly so good? Its easy to work on and maintain. Parts are affordable and when you crash, it doesn't sting as much.

I could care less if the TZ is clone of anything. In the end it is tremendous value to performance deal. I liked it so much I bought another. And I certainly didn't get what I paid for. I got way more than what I paid for. I don't have to upgrade any parts on it or nothing and it flies great. Unlike the T-rex 600, which I ended up upgrading part after part only to discover in the end that I don't like the way it flies nearly as much as the TZ.

Now if I had money to burn I would have bought two vibe 90SG's but the wife likes to save money and not crash it. The vibe may have more quality parts and fit etc... but price is a big deal most new guys just can't get over. If there were more capable heli's that made it more affordable to the new guy we would attract more people into the hobby. Heck, price is what makes newbies buy those tiny little electric helis instead of a much more stable 50 size nitro.

I wonder if JS had gotten permisison or even purchases the various parts from these other manufacturers or contracted to build thier machine would we be having this discussion? And do we know they dont have any ties to these companies? Just food for thought.

Here I come to save the day !!!

To each there own. At this point it is what it is there are going to do it and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. As long as people buy there products they will rob designs, but its not just JS models that are doing it alot of budget heli companies are doing it and at the economic state i dont blame anyone for getting one hell the pantera is buy one get on half off i mean 2 helis for the price of 1 Trex or vibe how can you beat that, you cant.

I know that im just using that as a example. The JS TZ V2 is a far better heli than the pantera but they dont have a buy one getone half off cause if they did even as a proud Vibe 50 owner i would buy 2 just for the deal.
