I just wanted to know has anyone had any feed back on the JS Models frenzy (vibe Clone) as far as quality. Does anyone know if most of the parts are interchangable? The reason i ask was i was going to try out the metal blade grips just to see one if they fit and two how they worked. Just wanted to ask, if anyone knows please let me know.

Those clones uses a different spindle.

Maybe works but you'll have to change bearings.

I have heard that it is actually a clone of the Airskipper (not Airskipper II which is basically a Vibe). So last generation.

I wouldn't do it, those Chinese clones have a very bad material quality, especially those from JS.

There are Metal grips from JR and Kasama also available.

Ive got the HyperGrips on my Vibe 50.. same baddass grip they use on the Synergy N9 with the new HyperRing V2 dampers these are amazing grips but a tad pricey.

Steer away from the clones..

Oh yeah, they're identical.

Feel free to highlight the similarities between the TZ in the first photo, and the AS in the second.

Ooooh, close, but the answer we were looking for was "Bearing Blocks". For playing our game today we have a free copy of Model Aviation magazine, all the articles are fit to wipe with.

o btw if your claiming vibe clone it is influenced heavily but is completly diffrent from the vibe frames=diffrent head=diffrent landing gear=diffrent bottom plate=diffrent tail=belt not shaft driven head=diffrent in fact theres nothing clone about it other then things that are the same between all helis it has an engine a fuel tank blades and flys .... NO PARTS ARE INTERCHANGABLE not even the stupid tail rotor blade holders i have tried everything is diffrent sure theres some universal parts like tail booms and main shafts but comon people a clone is something that can DIRECTLY interchange with the original parts aka CopterX 450 and Trex450 just because the canopy resembles it doesnt mean its a clone .... so a trex 600n with v2 canopyy must be a vibe clone too!

Folks,

Someone pointed out your thread in a similar thread on the Audacity forum (where some fellows partial to the Frenzy came to troll). They have made several posts, which fortunately, have largely been of a good tone and thus, resulted in a fairly civilized interchange . . .

http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t499108p4/
http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t499494p1/

. . . however, since I make it my business to know my competition, e.g. how other 50-class machines compare to my product, I think I may bring something of value to your conversation regarding the Frenzy versus the Vibe.

To be frank, while I have areas where I think my Pantera whips either one, it's not cut and dried. For example, our machine uses fiber reinforced injection molded engineering plastic while the other two feature flat G10 side frames and aluminum block construction, e.g. what we call composite construction. But this alone doesn't mean one's better, it just means it's different.

Moreover, it's my view we can have different philosophies for getting the job done and agree to disagree in execution, understand? Thus, a potential customer can compare and contrast between the two styles of construction to seek what's best for them and their own particular situation as modelers, i.e. plastic or G10. However, this is simply because we have a different way of achieving our goals. Nevertheless, we're competing on a fair and even footing for the hearts and mids of customers, e.g. in an honest manner.

That said, in my relatively unbiased view (and I usually have very strong opinions), the Vibe 50 is far superior to the Frenzy 50 in execution of the design. Moreover, I personally find it offensive, e.g. the degree to which the basic JR Vibe 50 layout and design has been stolen outright, which in my view is simply wrong!

Furthermore, I've always considered JR products worthy competitors in our 50-class market, and I'm proud to go head-to-head with them over ideas. Moreover, while I find several areas where I think we execute better, I know one thing, there's no question in my mind about one thing; JR delivers superb quality.

Finally, and for what it's worth, if I didn't own Audacity Models, and were in the market for a composite 50-class heli and was considering between the Vibe 50 and the T-Rex 600N, the Vibe 50 would win hands down (and pulling away, while the Frenzy wouldn't even make the cut) because between the two, I think the Vibe 50 is hands down a better product . . . and I don't think it's even close!

Of course, if we compare and contrast the Vibe to my Pantera, it's another story

My 2¢

Hah-hah, no it's more like JR wouldn't stoop to discussing the Frenzy in public (court may be another matter). I, on the other hand, am an uncouth southern boy and thus, am not afraid to call a spade a spade. In short, I'm not afraid to get in the mud.

JR is an honest competitor and it's my view the Frezy steals from JR in such a blatant unapologetic fashion that I quite simply find it offends my sensibilities to such a degree I have to say what's on my mind.

My Daddy taught me lying, cheating, and stealing is wrong. In my view, theft like this is just as wrong . . . end of story.

you do realize no parts are the same so had to be developed and reseached independently thus not making it a clone thus not making it stealing form jr and thus your claim to copying jr is a moot point seems like if they were cloing they would just have copied everything instead of going out of there way to make every single part different

Just out of curiousity John, you have any pictures of the TZ Frenzy that you built and flew to back up those statements? I mean, as dedicated as you are to making comparisions between your Helis and all other 50s on the market, you surely would have spent $220 to see it first hand and not base how well a particular heli flies by pictures alone?

These "That is a Clone" thread are really starting to give me a headache to be honest. THere are only so many things you can do with a Heli design. So finding things similar between many helis on the market is not hard to do.. I could sit here and pick out MANY things that are similar between a Pantera and other helis. I could do the same with a Vibe or a Trex or <insert heli here>. There are only so many things you can change to a basic RC Heli design. Just because it looks different does NOT mean it OPERATES different. You really do not want to ask me to do this John, as it might burst your Bubble.

So instead of worrying about what is a copy or clone of this or that, just fly your chosen heli and have fun with it. Because in the end, that is all that matters.

VooDoo give it a break and leave the guy alone! There are many good 50's out there depending on your preferences. The JS Frenzy is a cheap knockoff and everyone knows it. If you want a quality, welt built product get a Vibe. If you can't afford a Vibe and will settle for something that was stolen from JR and not made as well then buy a cheap knockoff. You get what you pay for! If you want a Lexus buy one, if you can settle for a Hyundai then good for you. I've had a Pantera before and they have some very well thought out features. I would buy a Pantera, EVO 50, 600N, or even a Raptor long before I would buy a JS Frenzy.

Voodoo do you even own a Vibe 50? I've seen several different posts of you attacking John Beech and being a "cheerleader" for the fabulous JS Frenzy that you are so in love with. What's your deal? Maybe a better spot for you to post is in the JS Frenzy section????
