My Posts This: Topic Forum | Folks,
Someone pointed out your thread in a similar thread on the Audacity forum (where some fellows partial to the Frenzy came to troll). They have made several posts, which fortunately, have largely been of a good tone and thus, resulted in a fairly civilized interchange . . .

. . . however, since I make it my business to know my competition, e.g. how other 50-class machines compare to my product, I think I may bring something of value to your conversation regarding the Frenzy versus the Vibe.
To be frank, while I have areas where I think my Pantera whips either one, it's not cut and dried. For example, our machine uses fiber reinforced injection molded engineering plastic while the other two feature flat G10 side frames and aluminum block construction, e.g. what we call composite construction. But this alone doesn't mean one's better, it just means it's different.
Moreover, it's my view we can have different philosophies for getting the job done and agree to disagree in execution, understand? Thus, a potential customer can compare and contrast between the two styles of construction to seek what's best for them and their own particular situation as modelers, i.e. plastic or G10. However, this is simply because we have a different way of achieving our goals. Nevertheless, we're competing on a fair and even footing for the hearts and mids of customers, e.g. in an honest manner.
That said, in my relatively unbiased view (and I usually have very strong opinions), the Vibe 50 is far superior to the Frenzy 50 in execution of the design. Moreover, I personally find it offensive, e.g. the degree to which the basic JR Vibe 50 layout and design has been stolen outright, which in my view is simply wrong!
Furthermore, I've always considered JR products worthy competitors in our 50-class market, and I'm proud to go head-to-head with them over ideas. Moreover, while I find several areas where I think we execute better, I know one thing, there's no question in my mind about one thing; JR delivers superb quality.
Finally, and for what it's worth, if I didn't own Audacity Models, and were in the market for a composite 50-class heli and was considering between the Vibe 50 and the T-Rex 600N, the Vibe 50 would win hands down (and pulling away, while the Frenzy wouldn't even make the cut) because between the two, I think the Vibe 50 is hands down a better product . . . and I don't think it's even close!
Of course, if we compare and contrast the Vibe to my Pantera, it's another story
