My Posts This: Topic Forum | Bell machined wrong!!!That is good. Here is what I got. I got the original 600 pinion and bell. This is the pinion that I did the threads on the predator bell.
The first phot are the pinion, bell and tap.The pinion fits inside the bell.
Then the tap fits inside the bell also like a glove. So, I don't know what the guy did, but something is not right.
I still have (I think) the old predator bell here. I can machine it for you if you like and send it to you. Is not the HD one though
Or I can get a HD one from my supplier here in Canada and do that one. Is up to you. Just don't give up. OK M8?

I’m totally out of funds at the moment so my only option now is to turn the outer shell off a 600 bell leaving a threaded sleeve then bore the bell out a bit more and press the sleeve into the new bell (what a shame) I’ve done this before and it works and at least it will allow me to get on with the rest of the build but I will have to change it later because its always a worry it might slip at some point.
anyway he’s told me to take the bell back and he will make me another one so that’s good but I’m concerned what to do about the liner, Century say the new heavy duty liner is not removable and must be installed at the factory so I’m not sure how to get round this at the moment if he makes another bell.
