We need to find a way to insure all current Synergy owners get first dibs on the N5s...

Why 'baddenergy'? Why not 'badsynergy'???

Can't wait to see the first electric conversion on the N5. The airframe looks solid as hell and I imagine it could handle over 4000 watts easy. Or better yet stretch it out to a 90. I like the N5 much more than the N9 and could easily see myself buying one just to convert.

baddynergy just seemed to have a better flow to it than baddsynergy.

An E-N5 would be very intersting to see. I wonder how easy it will be to convert it.

Forget that I LOVE NITRO...

I have a feeling we will be seeing Matt and the N5 in Chattanooga this weekend, if he makes it.

I was Spektrum when Spektrum wasn't cool

Sorry to burst your bubble, but he's not going to be making it to Chatanooga. Pretty sure he'll be at The Smackdown of the South.

N5 Prototype Flight Count = 202

The count is 202..

Dont know the total weight yet. But it will vary with equipment. I am hoping for 7.4- 7.8lb all up weight..

I got to see Matt fly the hell out of this helicopter again today.

This thing in nothing short of amazing when it comes down to raw speed and stability. Seems to have a pretty good cyclic rate as well.

Now he has me seriously thinking hard about an E5 but from the looks of things, the conversion will be rather difficult.

Nah.

However, just think about what a smaller N9 canopy will look like.

A fellow Synergy rep had a chance to fly Matt's N5 (canopyless). He said it feels great in the air. I wouldn't doubt it if the N5 has the qualities of the N9 plus improvements over the N9. Sounds like allot of fun.

Here's a picture of the N5 with the new canopy. The picture quality is crappy as it was taken with my phone, but you get the idea.

i just want to say i very much like the layout of the new n5. I hope it will perform great out of the box without any need for upgrades like the n9. Like all those hyper upgrades and stuff.
