Hi everyone
Have a problem getting the shroud to not rub the fan. I played with it for sometime with no luck. All the spacers are in correct. Any ideas where to look?

Thanks
Aldo.

Hi!

I have had the same problem with mine. I have manufactured 15mm spacers and now it's perfect. I think the shroud's geometry has changed during the cooling, after injection.

I take it you put your spacers on the bottom shroud mount to raise it?

Sometimes de-stressing the plastic by boiling it in water for a minute or so helps... Sounds odd I know, but it helped with mine!

Directly after the injection moulding process the plastic can slightly distort in shape, re-heating it in boiling water and allowing it to cool will often allow it to assume its intended shape if indeed it was distorted in the first place.

I had to install both black spacers and an additional 2mm spacer on top for it to be perfect. Using YS SR engine.
