Paid up and ready to go!

Looking forward to seeing you guys there and hanging with the crew!

Jeremy, you should have Blade MSR races. We did those in the VA funfly last weekend and they were awesome! You get two vertical banner poles and space them about 15 feet apart and folks need to fly around them in an oval or figure 8 and the pilot that gets the most laps in 2 minutes wins. Each pilot needs a spotter which will count his laps as they all look the same and you have to keep your eyes on one heli to fly it and count its laps.

They did this at night, but they had a lit carport to do it in. If its not too windy, you can pull it off in the day and get a couple of raffle prices from the table to hand out to the winners. It was alot of fun, bring some MSR's as people buy them on the spot to fly in the race. Nothing like trying to get around poles and dodge 6 other MSR's while you're at it!

Saturday and Sunday's weather is looking good. We have tons of donations. Should be a good time. The only downer is that Bert has the flu and can't make it. But Frank Columbia was already tearing it up today. Justin Jee and Alvin Chai are going to be there as well.

Hope to see you there.

Good show today

Enjoyed the day, got a few flights in, saw some scale stuff, Gary was flying his scaler very nicely doing some interesting maneuvering with it - enjoyed watching that

Flight stations were a little too tight though, felt like I was flying in a closet and 3D'ing people to the left and right were often close enough to cause concern. I'd suggest next year do away with the hover zone station (takes up valuable real estate) and spread the flight stations further apart to make them more comfortable flying zones.

You can always put a hover zone area next to the scale guys (to their right) - that would work really well on that side, wouldn't bother the scale guys any, and would use up the wide open space for more 3D room that was 90% not in use today due to being "hover zone only" area.

All in all good work you guys had a good time hanging out and chatting with folks!
