Hello everyone.
Could you please help me with some doubts and questions about this setup?

1) What would be the best servos for aileron, elevator and pitch? Futaba BLS 451, 9350, 9451, Hitec 6975HB? Any other setup recomended?

2) Regarding the throttle servo shall it have more speed than pitch servo? Or the same speed is ok?

3) A GY401 with 9254 servo would be ok since it will be a scale flying model? Os is it better to put a stronger servo in the tail?

4) The engine will be OS 91 HZ. Will hatori pipe fit inside the fuse?

5) What is the best servo for the rectractable landing gear?

1. Doesn't matter, 9451, 9452, decent hitecs, whatever.

2. Doesnt matter, doesn't matter even more for scale flying, 3151 is perfect. Even for 3d flying, anything .15 to .2 is more than sufficent despite what some of the one gallon wonders would have you believe.

3. Will work fine.

Check out this thread on the A109 I did, It flys really great using 401 9253 servo and Fut 9252 servos for the rest, os70 engine. You don't need anything fancy for scale. Just used a Futaba retract servo cant remember num tho.

Use the 939 as it has a slightly longer header which allows the pipe to fully clear the wooden base. If you use a 938 pipe, you need to cut some material off the supplied base as the muffler does not quite clear it fully.

The 939 clears it fully and no trimming is required.

Hello again everyone.
I already have the heli and fuselage, and I am working on the heli.
One doubt... the socket screw of the phase ring of the swashplate shall be mounted to which side of the heli? Or it does not matter?

Also the fuel tank as a nipple under it, what is it for?

Does not matter which way you turn the swashplate.
The bottom fitting is designed to sell fuel plugs

Think it was for pressurized motors like the YS, but most people use the top for that.

Hello all.
I already finished my raptor 90 3D and am flying it before fitting the agusta 109 fuselage, to adjust everything.
The engine is rich for the running in period, main blades are mav G5 700 wide chord and tail are 105mm Radix. I am getting some high freq vibrations on tail rotor, maybe it is from the engine vibration due to being rich, can it be the reason? The gyro gain is already adjusted, and these vibration are not because of that. Do you think after the engine is tunned properly the vibrations will disapear?

Apart from that, 90 size helis are really another thing, stability, power, and so on... once you try them there is no way back

Hello all.
I already have the Raptor 90 inside the agusta fuselage but the left main landing gear wheel is touching the hatori pipe when retracted.
Will the heat damage the wheel? Did you have the same problem? What solution did you find?
