Anyone had to send theirs in yet? I checked mine against the email they sent me and I am in the product line that had the bad pots, however my pots seem to be good when checking them in the monitor. I'd love to send it in anyways, but I'd hate to be without for the weeks it would take them in the mail and what not.

Just wondering if anyones actually had to send theirs back?

I need one of those to fly in my office. Tried to fly my .90 in there but man is my wife pissed now!

Well i just got my new dx6i today and sure enough the one i got has one of the numbers that was flagged. I haven't even had a chance to hook it up yet. But i did run that test and the little arrows don't hesitate or jump. But they do kinda of blink and when i move the sticks to fast they disappear. I guess i'll have to give them a call tomorrow and see if there's a problem. Man this going to suck if i have to send it off. I've already had to wait almost a week and a half just to get it. grrrr

I bought one around xmas time and had a faulty rudder pot. The pot would sometimes be off centre by about 50 points of subtrim, and sometimes not. I only found this out by trying to fly my sim, and then looking at the monitor screen. I originally thought it was bad factory calibration, until it started getting intermittent. I returned the set for replacement to the shop, and got a brand new set, in less than 2 days.
Full marks to Inwood models and horizon

The second set was perfect and had no probs, the set didn't have a sticker with a number on it so I have just checked the set by watching the monitor and all is well, The markers seem to flash on mine if you move the sticks very quickly, probably due to the refresh rate of the software.

Good luck

The cursors flashing as you move the stick is common to all the sets i have had in my hands, it even happens on the DX7. The flashing smooths out though if you move the sticks in a smooth manner across the range.
Hope you get the problem fixed as I say mine is fine now and all seems well.

Good luck

Well unless i move the sticks slow and smoothly they actually disappear to. So i'm not really sure if there's a problem or not. But i rather be safe then sorry. It just sucks that have to send it in without even being able to use it yet. And how long does it take to send a flippin shipping label, uggg. I'm getting frustrated already and i haven't even shipped it back yet.

Here is what mine looks like. Watch the throttle monitor. It also affects the elevator and aileron. It's easier to see in full screen mode. I contacted Horizon and they are sending a shipping tag so I can return it. FWIW, mine also did not have a date code on the back of it and was bundled with a Blade 400.

Quite impossible to fly. Well, I guess you could fly,I just dont know for how long.
The bad part was, when you turned on the tx and heli, the heli would see 0% throttle, so the esc would arm. As soon as you advance the throttle it will blip to half stick throttle. Talk about a surprise! Glad I was aware of what was going on. Luckily it was just on my cx2.

I just got off the phone with horizon because i still hadn't received my shipping label yet to send it back. The guy told me it didn't really matter because they don't even have the parts to fix it yet. And now the manufacturer that makes the parts are about to be shut down because of the Chinese new year. It could be a while.
