Not anything new to report here yet....
But I wanted to get this topic started and away from the "Vibe" topic.

The helicopter is called the TZ-V2 and was nicknamed "3D Frenzy" by Amainhobbies.

I hope to see build reports, finished pics, and comments on quality and flight performance.

I should be getting some info up soon...

Is this the TZ Shark 50 with different frame (Vibe 50)? Same TZ head or Vibe head?

The Shark 50 original head was different, kinda like the Gohbee Raptor head with a LONG spindle to put the blades about 20 mm further out (like running 620's with 60mm blades).
Then they made the new style head (as pictured) which shipped with all of the newer shark kits.
Feedback to them after IRCHA was that the Shark got a lot of looks, but no takers. The Vibe was flying off the shelves.
Hence, the new frame design.

It's not the Shark series it's under the TZ models section of the site not the Shark model's.

Thanks,
I thought the back part of the frame was raptor like. Do you know when it will be out.

Let me see if I got this right: the TZ 90 is a Raptor 90 clone? and the new TZ V2 90 is more of like a JR Vibe 90 SG clone? Different heads?

the new 90 is not a clone of anything, the exception being the canopy.
That is copied from the Vibe SG.
Nothing else is.

If you bling it, they will come :D

wifeorheli,

You really need to research the use of DS821 servos in 50 size helicopters....the manufacturer of the servos doesn't even recommend it.

I should have my TZ-V2 ready to fly by next week. I'll try my best to post some pics on here as soon as it's ready. Haven't had any problems with anything yet. The runout on mine was within .001 (Got Lucky).

Wifeorheli,

I noticed from your "dial indicator help" thread that you had some major runout problems. Thats really unfortunate it happened to you. I know that it can get frustrating at times, but it's a good learning experience. Just keep at it, and don't get descouraged. There is so much help here on RR that it makes these builds so much easier. Like I said before, I really think that I got lucky on the runout and I hope that the people at JS models are reading these posts and eventually fix the runout problem... Good luck!!!
