My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Trying to solve a problem for a friend who has a new used gohbee 90, The rotor is not spinning freely , it seems like the main gear and pinion mesh is too tight. Is it possible the previous owner put the wrong pinion on it? Could anyone please tell me what tooth pinion you are using if you have a smooth spinning heli. Thanks, mark

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		A 90 should have a 11 tooth pinion. A 91 or 93 main gear depending on engine selection. You will need to loosen the bolts on the start shaft/clutch bell housing and align the engine and clutch bell so the start shaft spins freely and the gear mesh is not to tight. A strip of typing paper between the gears is the backlash that I like.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		As Don said, the mesh is adjustable.
Loosen the engine mounting bracket and all 8 screws that hold in the clutch and start shaft.
First adjust the gear mesh making sure that the shaft remains parallel to the main shaft. You can use the paper as Don suggested or I just adjust for the slightest detectable backlash. Less is better but none is bad.
Once the gear mesh is good and all of the screws are tight and loctited, adjust the engine by spinning the start shaft backwards by hand. When the start shaft spins the freest is the correct alignment.
