An awesome unit!

Slim and light, provides 12v @ 30 Amps, and extremely reliable, as it was originally designed for high end servers that work 24/7.

Already sold a few at my field, and we’re all very happy with it.

Can be used indoors or outdoors, with input voltage 100-240v and provides a very accurate voltage, even during high current drawing.

Unit has a fan, switch, and a power plug connector.

This is an extremely low price for such a unit, which is over $200 when purchased for servers.

dimensions:
size - 8x3.9x1.5 inches
weight - 1.12 lbs

Price is $45, and includes S/H in the US. Includes the unit, and the right connector so you can easily hook it up to your chargers.
Quantity discount available (2 and up).

Please email me with any questions you may have or paypal to get your unit – dudibd@gmail.com (better than PM, since i get it on my blackberry).

Thanks for looking, AND PLEASE CHECK THE RATINGS I GOT FOR THIS PRODUCT, here and on RCU!

Below are pics of the unit, sticker on it, the connector i provide, and my field box based on this unit (-:

I bought one. Works great. Not much bigger than the TP1010 charger. Good value, nice guy who ships promptly.

these will do 12v @ 30amps. sticker says total 450w max, but it refers to the overall output, including other ports that are not 12v (check the sticker pic i included).

it will do any combination of chargers on the 12v port, as long as the total current draw is under 30A.

hope that helps,
david.

Does the output connector accept multiple pairs of banana plugs?

hello,
i provide the unit with a matching connector to which you can solder your charger wires, either directly, or through any type of connectors that will hold the high current.
specifically - you can solder female banana plugs. the connector has 4 ports - 4 pairs of plus and minus you can use. in case of very high current, i'd solder 2 pairs together, but in regular currents (say around 5Amp), you can use a pair for each charger.
if you only have 2 chargers, i'd solder 2 pairs together for each charger, just because it's the better way to do it if you dont need more outputs.

hope that helps...
david.

I received the power supply a few days ago and just had the chance to get it all set up and I am very impressed with it! It is lightweight and compact. I charged a pair of 4s packs on my cellpro 10s at 2c and another 6s pack on a different charger and it never got warm. A great buy for the money.

hi Doug,
thanks for your kind words here, and for your positive feedback.

as you may know, i don't own an electric supplies store nor an RC store. i'm just an RC pilot like you guys, who got a bunch of those units for a completely different project, and now need to sell most of them. i found them to be very high performance and great for RC needs, and so posted them here and on a couple of other sites, and still have a few left.

enjoy and happy flying!
david.

I wish I bought this instead of the expensive Power Force 13.8V 40A supply that I paid for $99.

It is a really nice supply! I have 3 chargers to it and have peaked 28amps and it never even got warm. Awesome deal for the price. I was going to buy the same supply you have Dennis but I said what the heck I will try it. I am lucky I did, I love it.

This Pwr supply worked great but it can be overloaded like any. Three 6S5000 packs at 1C will do it. But the same combination cut off my 35 amp Pyramid shop supply too.

No problem though as my Yamaha 2400 generator can power many supplies.

Thanks for the great small foot print power supply David.

Hi
The scenario you describe will only take 15amps... We load them with 25amps and more without issues...
Did you have any problems with it?
