RBlyden: Not sure about all the power lines Thanks

Hi,

The power lines are actually VERY far from the field. Although, I have seen one airplane hit the lines. It was a very small and light foam airplane, and the pilot lost signal, and the model kept going... it was so far away that you couldn't even see the shape or orientation anymore, it was just a white/yellow dot in the sky... All of a sudden we all saw it hit the power lines and a couple of sparks... The power line prevailed!!! That's it. The pilot is now thinking about getting a heli!!!

Here's a shot of the RC field at Marymoor park in Redmond, Wa. USA Mostly planes. I haven't flown here in a couple years. LOT's of NOOB's -which is why it got the unofficial name of Scarymoor.

I like the pit area in the back of the truck. Its easy to get out of an unauthorized AO when things go bad Marymoor pic didn't show. Glad to hear the foamy airplane didn't catch on fire. Would of been a cool shot though. Any safe place you can fly is a good place. Anyone ever do some cliff flying. Sounds like fun unless your motor stalls Anymore pit area photos?

Nice field and grass JRjoe, but why the high grass strips in the middle. Is that to replace the fence? Thanks for the photo.

Hot wings, I like the open land and plenty of air space. That the first I've seen concrete heli stands/tables. Plenty of tables must take skills to cut with th emower.: Thanks

It stops the plankers from running into the pits, in theory..

It's also the flight line. No flying behind the tall stuff.

This place is only 15 minutes from the house, I'm a club member and the club is VERY helicopter friendly. Yet sadly, I only seem to make it over there a handful of times each year. Gotta try to correct that for 09.

Taken from the club's website.........http://www.lcrcc.net/

Kinger, Thats an awsome flying field and to only be 15 minutes from the house is a dream for all pilots. Our field is 5 minutes. Nice photos.

JRjoe, I understand now and good idea. Thanks for sharing

Chucky777, Thanks for the nice photos of your texas field. Really open and plenty of air space.

I will have to post a pic of our field looking out. Our view is of Mt Rainier in Washington. Nice when its clear skys and not cloudy. The sun does set earlier on our field due to the tree line than the rest of the surrounding area so we have to get it in early. Good thing is it leaves us extra time to spend with the family instead of being gone the entire weekend. The owner provide our club with everything we need for free so we can't complain.

Hi guys

I put some pictures of our Dubai site.

Here are some of our un-official site on the lawns between Sharjah American University and Sharjah Airport. It is about a 20min drive from my house and most importantly....heli only.

The added bonus is great guys come here!!!!
