I have a beam with a 401/9257. The tail seems to hold good and is dead on in normal mode. However, when i flip it in to idle up it will get occasional tail shakes every now then. Its only when im in idle up.

ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Blake

If you can tie your gain to your flight mode then lower the gain a bit in idle up.

There's electronic and mechanical gain, by speeding up the tail you're increasing the mechanical gain and getting tail wag.

ditto on Barracuda explanation

i always say.. on idle up.. the tail spins faster = more power = quicker response = more sensitive = less gain.

cheers
