Before Christmas I bought a set with one good blade and one that wouldn't light. The next set (with the Align charger) was on backorder through my LHS (I try to buy as much through them as I can vs web stores). They were totally dark out of the pack, meaning that the LIPO had very little charge--bad for batteries. The instructions say to charge for about 70 minutes. After 70 minutes, the lights barely lit, and the blue went dark within seconds, with the green bearly visable. Back on the charger for another hour. Same result, although the blue lit up for 20 seconds this time. 8 hours on the charger, same result.
Not to mention that the slightest wiggle on the jumper which is inserted all the way, results in flickering lights.
This is awful QC. Am I just having bad luck and should try again, or find another brand. I haven't found anything under $75 and that's awfully steep for 325 blades that will eventually get shredded.
