My Posts This: Topic Forum | Fire FireI had happended one time with one of my NR3D's. I had just changed my tail motor, and inadvertantly partly skinned one tail wiring lead. When I plugged the batt, the esc had almost exploded.
Check all wires that connect to the esc. Maybe it's a faulty esc by itself. If you just have bought this heli, contact Venom. They will probably do something to help you.

just as I have done a hundred times before and poof there it went. Luckily I was able to unplug the bat. before the thing went up in flames. Anyone know what could have caused this??javascript:smilie('
