jeez, guys can't you just take this post for what it is, an excellent demonstration of 3D flight by a 'sponsored pilot', instead of turning it into another Raptor vs Trex thread...

It's not a Trex vs Rappy thread!

Jeez...

I'm a raptor guy thru and thru and am just supporting TT!

Great flying, Colin!

Nor surprise for me at all.

And one more time again it shows that the pilot is responsible how the thing flies.
Some higher voltage on speedy servos (than in earlier days) may help but that`s it.
And you don`t need 14 degrees of pitch too.

TT may be a bit out of trend and their design is repetitively called "old" but, as everybody can see, it still works.

So a good choice for wild epileptic flights or trying some new stuff...

Perfect example of skillfull flying. That Titan was quick and looks great!! I could never make my Titan do that, come to think of it I can't even fly my trex's like that LOL.

I dunno, to me it looked like Colin was pretty rusty. Nothing was really polished or clean. I would say he has some work ahead of him to get back in form. Just my $0.02

It's the mixers... He's running 30 degrees... Or he has the 90 size uncut... Either way, they allow for more pitch and much faster cyclic commands. I did this and my titan flys just like his...

Dont get me wrong, the pilot is EVERYTHING.... But having a heli that can be able to do this is helpful as well .

Great flying, Great mod, Great chopper.....

Thanks everyone for the comments. I've gotten a few PMs about the setup of this particular model, so I'll post here for anyone else who would like to know. It's a stock Titan 50 with the following.

-TT RL.53
-Futaba Brushless 451 servos for cyclic and collective.
-Futaba 611 Gyro/9256 servo.
-SGP ReactorX/Thunder power 1320 2s battery.
-Radix 600mm SB blades.
-Radix 95mm tail blades.
-MP5 Muffler.
-Modified mixers for more pitch.
-Metal head block (red dampers), with plastic blade grips.
