Fixit,
Here's the canopy fitted.
The servo wheels don't hit the canopy.
I have to install another set of canopy struts to support it in front.

Hi Zorba

The Predator canopy seems to be more in proportion even though the front is empty so to speak, when you’ve finished trimming it send me a picture of the underside.

so did anyone come to a finish product with everything needed to convert the 600N nitro to gasser except the engine part? as i am interest of getting and converting it but hate to get pieces here and pieces there....


It was in the air, but now it's on the ground. :)

A 600N, a 50 engine and a can of fuel would be all you need to do that

The ideas are open for anyone to use on RR and anywhere ells, I don’t have the resources to produce a kit but I'm more than happy to help others get one of these 600s up and running, the problem for most that show an interest in this build is they don’t have the tools or time to make the frames and other bits needed so anyone making thoses parts avallable so people can enjoy the 600 gasser has my blessing.

by the way fixit,
what would it be i someone would like to buy a frame set from you ??? its because im really unconvinced about the ****ns frame, i have the impression that the hole were drilled by hand and not by cnc, they dont match very well so that the gears does not run very smooth quite stiff....

I would like to have some frames to sell you but the carbon before cutting would cost me £140 in the UK, add cutting , postage and a slight profit and your looking at £200 for one set, now you can see why I’m not in a position to sell any Kit parts.

ranger-7 if your frames where faulty you should send them back to be put right.

i see, the material eats most of the money why is the carbon so expensinve ?? once i bought in germany 10x 1000mmx1,5mm,x330mm for 300 euro and that was really huge material... well i finished now almost all the fan shroud i sealed with silicone so it got to be airtight ... weekend i will try ... and would rather let it without pull starter or would prefer with ??

You must understand it is not a factory made conversion , you may need to do the final touch on it , not to redrill the holes but just to widen some of them and apart from that the conversion is perfect and it works perfectly !
We may like him or dislike him but as Fixit said he is the only one who enabled those people without the skill and tools to do the conversion themselves to enjoy in it !

yes darko,
youre doing right but afternow, aside the pinion gear i would have better cut myself .... its because the original cooling the described would have never beenn enough to provide a secure long time operating ... thats why i asked fixit about predator cooling... with this i had to cut frame, and the most which agitated me was that i had to widen the so important holes and slots for the main rotor block and clutch blocks, i guess that imprecision its the cause why the gear does not operate smoothly...

Just UK prices unfortunately, I’m more than happy to use aluminium but most people are looking to save weight and that’s why carbon is the preferred material.

Ranger7 I bought those frames and I had to widen some of the holes but thats about it.
I did most of the mods my self and I had fun with it and proud of it.
He helped me alot in the past and I will support him.
He did nothing to me except guide me and vige me pointers.
I might get in trouble for saying that but thats the way I feel.

And for your information the frames were made by CNC.

Hi guys, today i had it the first time running, but im still panished about the heat... got the predator cooling fan but i put my hand down under the engine i couldnt feel any wind, like i felt when it was the nitro, moreover its very hot i almost couldnt touch it .... so what could i do, did i something wrong ???? i scared that the engine could die...

pls could someone give me some info to compare how your fan works...

Predator fan

I ordered a predator fan last week. When did they switch from the straight blade design to the curved? I ordered this using the original predator gasser SE fan part#. looks like a better fan to me.
