I got a "bonus" at work, basically I get paid back for sick leave I don't use, and so i have been a little bit of a spending spree. First I have a King3 frame, boom, full tail and misc stuff coming, should be a good upgrade for $35. Next I picked up an EFlite Edge 540 today. I had everything else except the airframe itself, so now I can start building it up

I am still trying to decide what else to pick up. I am temped to grab one or two more fasst rxs but what I have works. Then there is a second charger. I kinda messed up and sold my Cellpro 4s and I miss it. So I am thinking of picking up one of the newer 4S Multi chargers. I am going to call FMA on Monday and see if they have any refurbs yet and if so, I think I will puck one up. That's about all I can think to spend ... sad huh, but I am happy with what I have right now and see no need to add a heli to the fleet.

Your fortunate Tj, My work just announced a few more layoffs plus starting in March, the company contribution to the 401K is going to be nill.

I bought a few more repair parts for the 450's so I can crash with confidence

I want a nice plane but I am scared to spend too much money. My work just had a 4% layoff and dropped back to a 4 day work week 32hrs. But my boss has me on 10hr days and 6hr's on saturday's.

How would you guy's read that kind of logic?

The only reason I got the sick leave payback thing again this is because it is a state policy and I work for a state institution. They have pretty much halted everything else from hiring to raises this year. If things don't improve in the next 12-18 months then there will likely be layoffs.

I"m not that far from that at my job. We have to do more w/ less people.

"I'm doing this because I can" comes to mind. Only problem with that is when the economy picks up and there are more jobs, your people start the Exodus.

Finally ordered a brushless tail motor & esc for Frankenheli today.
I've been holding off because of ... the unsettle economic situation . . Too many companies are laying off, and I've just started construction on my new house. I'm a little nervous at the moment.

But the desire to have Frank back in the air won out.
Hopefully the parts will be here by the end of the week, and I can get and KEEP Frank in the air. I'm just all done messing with brushed tail motors on that heli.... If this doesn't work, it's going back to being a coax, and that will be the end of that.

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission.

Didn't spend any money today but did just trade my brother in law his King2 for a my Hbfp with charger and batts. Gotta go through this thing, lord knows how its been treated. He flew the hbfp last weekend and enjoyed being able to fly instead of fixing.
Weather is terrible. Everythings iced over and expecting an inch of ice tonight. Raining right now but freezing on everything.
Economy is terrible right now. 6 months ago I would go to a pre bid meeting and there would be 5 or 6 contractors there, but now there is standing room only. This morning there must have been 50 contractors at a meeting. This is just the beginning
Good day to fix the helis

My Align "wave it and fix it" pitch gauge just barely fits the Protos blades. I mean I have press it on there. There is no way it would work on a Logo 500.

I went and picked up my "easy" button. they said it is good for three uses before needing to be recharged.

Works good for me, three helis, three uses. Good to go.

I dont know why a Eflite gauge for a BCPP fit. I was all set to buy another one but decided to just give it a try and WALA!

raptor30 blades are 50mm x 550mm and the Eflite gauge has aprx 1/16" of room left. So I got lucky on that one.

I mean this was for the blade cp pro!!!

So I just had to get the pictures Raptor nitro setup by E-Flite.
