Ok guys, nee some help. I tried to set this thing up before and was doing ok then summer came along and I started to fly the Raptor 50. Anywy I was going through the videos from Bob White, very good by the way and I'm just not getting something. I have a JR RS600 reciever a Futaba 9cHP radio Hitec HS-65's for the aleron/pitch and elevator. I have a 9650 on the tail but i'll save that topic for later. I'm trying to center my servos and am not having any luck. As soon as I get one thing right it throughs another out. Very frustrating. I seem to get collective or all the servos to go up at the same time but then my pitch seems wrong. Also I don't seem to have any aleron at all when I move the stick l/r. I have my right servo(alerion) my left servo(is in aux/pitch) and my collective servo(elevator). My radio is set up for PPM, which is different than what Bob says but if I change to PCM nothing works. Like I said I center everything as stated in the video????? I really need help. Also when I got the Raptor 50 it was already set up so I'm learning setup on the 450. Any help would be great. You can e-mail me at Lear08@hotmail.com.

PPM and PCM aren't going to affect your setup at all. This is for setting your particular radio and RX. I believe you should set to PPM given you have an FM reciever.

Set your radio to 50% on the normal pitch curve screen, take out all trims and subtrims, make sure all EPA is set to 100%.

Get your servo horns at 90 percent. Move them around on the servo until you get this.
Make sure all your linkages are equal. This should get you started. If you need help with head setup, pitch, etc. watch one of the FB videos over at that OTHER website on the Trex 450. Similar bird and setup.

Life is tough, it's tougher if you're stupid

Ok, I seem to have everything centered and all my servos go up at the same time when I use collective and my pitch seems right but i still don't have any or just a twitch of aleron? Also on my radio when I go to a certin point say to adjust the elev it moves my pitch servo and vice versa. I read in the instructions for my reciever that this may be? I also changed the little wire inside from POS to NEG as I was told. My big thing now is Left and Right stick. I have nothing but all my servos are working. It's like am I making this too hard or am I just not putting both my oars in the water?
