We had during the last months some requests about the payload the Maxi-Joker 3DD can lift.

Here the result:

We used one liter Coke bottles (1.1 kg/2.4 lb.) mounted on a 2.8 kg wooden plate (6.2 lb.).

Demo one is four bottles (7.2 kg / 15.9 lb.), demo two is six bottles (9.4 kg/20.7 lb.).

The Maxi-Joker 3DD with batteries and rotorblades (=the rest in the pics above) is 5.4 kg (11.9 lb.), about 200 grams more than the Joker 3DD (blades, boom parts). So total weight with six bottles is 14.8 kg (32.6 lb.)

For both motors the current was quite low.
Components are listed at the beginning of each film.

How many bearings are supporting the torque tube? (inside the tailboom) One? Two?

3 bearings supports in the boom.
