My Posts This: Topic Forum | Unless your doing some serious head banging against concrete, I don't think the metal head's gonna break or bend.
I crashed the plastic head on my squadron once. And about $15 worth of plastic broke on it. 6 crashes later on 2 other metal head Blueray 450's and none of the metal has yet to need to be replaced. I won't say that the metal will never bend or break. They are more likely to bend maybe. It's just that the plastic seems to break more often and the plastic swash of the SE has plastic balls on it. It may be fine for a while, but your better with the metal. The PE comes with CF blades which a novice does not really need. I have mentioned to some people to get the SE version, then get the $39 metal/head tail upgrade that they sell (look for that under the EXI 450 spare parts section). That way, you get your first crash parts in the head already and you now have a 2nd tail & belt! Then stock up on crash parts from the EXI 450 spare parts section and use the cheap Fiberglass 325 or 335mm blades Xheli sells. |
