Got this cool gadet a couple of weeks ago. It's a visual and acustic LiPo saver that works just great. Just connect it to the balancer plug of you pack. Forget about transmitter timers, because every pack is in different condition, timers are not really adequate. This one here blinks and beeps (very loud!!) as soon as the weakest cell of the pack, no matter which one, reaches a certain voltage level. The minimum voltage threshold is adjustable from 2.9V - 3.9V. Got mine on 3.6V.
As soon as the first cell reaches 3.6V, my EP-8 EX beeps like a Truck moving backwards... time to land! It's really loud, so you hear it even if you are far away in the clouds with your bird.
Another feature is the voltage check: Connect it to the balancer plug of your pack and it shows you the voltage of the pack (4.0V means a full pack, below means a not fully charged pack). So you never mix up flown/fresh packs on the field.
