Can someone post a Video of this said Death Spinner never seen one done.... I've ever seen was Death Spirals...

From the top of page 2, in this tropic:
Quote
A vertical descent with the rotor disk vertical and rotating on a vertical axis with the helicopter
pirouetting also. Judges are looking for a perfect vertical descent through at least 50m with a
recovery as low as the pilot is comfortable with
Quote
You also have to do piro's at the same time.
So the Death Spinner, is a big tail slide,
and the heli turn/rotate around the vertical axis (cork screw)
AND doing piro's at the same time!

Quote
Hi
I think it is like knifeedge piro funnels with 0 pitch and then bail out as late as possible

Anything been mentioned/or heard of what is happening to the judges that have put in a great effort over the years, will they still be doing the job, or are they now redundant to 3DM?

no need to say, its another pointless post by me.

Hi DOKEY
Bit more than a five minute walk for you now

Judges? he`ll probabley have `em put down.
On the other hand it could be freebies all round.
As for this cheap accommodation and flights. Anyone who has or has had school age kids will know there is no such thing as cheap on those dates.

Flybars. Who needs `em.

What a bummer. Just came across this thread while contemplating booking my accomodation for this years 3DM which is a short drive for me. Looks like I wont be booking afterall It's fair to say that the UK weather represents an enormous threat to an event such as this and I fully understand Jeff's decision for the change of venue given the problems this has caused over the last 2 years.
I shall very much miss one of the main highlights of my year and I sincerely hope it don't rain in Spain else I'll really drink a gallon of Magnum30 !

Not really, it's just a pirouette followed by a piro reverse.

To echo what has already been said, I am disappointed at the change of venue this year. I have been to every 3D masters event and do feel 'let down'
I think it would be good for Jeff to explain his reasons for the move to the likes of me and you - the supporting public.
I am not in the 'trade' or a 'known pilot' so I'm not privileged to this info.

well the weather will defintely be better, that is a big plus imho. All the vids from the 3DM are always looking like a hurricane or huge rain storm is always about.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

my father went to alicante in spain with friends and mentioned that is was so hot not to take coats or warm clothes.so thats what they did the second time there.................
the weather was terrible and they had to buy water resistant clothing and coats etc...so it can rain in spain for sure..but the changes are better for sun
thats why england is so green and lush we had really hot weather at the masters last year.to hot
thanks craig simmons

Hi Shawn.
The thing is even l can fly in blue sky and zero winds. What`s the betting Northampton gets better weather than Murcia on the 24th, 25th and 26th July.
l dont remember the weather being a problem last year. We sat outside drinking till midnight.
Here`s a shot of one of us on the Sunday.

here`s another drinker. Weather dont look that bad.
