Here is a vid of Emile (Copterdoctor) flying my Hirobo Chinook with the e conversion. I am using the Century Swift blades. They seem to work pretty well but could be heavier. We still have some fine tuning to do to get her dialed in. It is still a bit of a handful at times. My camera doesn't take real good video.

Nice video.

Definitely one of the better flying Chinooks.

Do you find these replacement blades fly better than stock?

Also, do you need spacers to fit these century swift blades or do they fit the stock grips?

I don't think they fly better than the stock blades but they are way cheaper. I think I paid about $20 per set. They could use more weight and they are a bit longer than the stock ones. I think the heavier the blades the more stable this thing flys but it is managable with these blades. I trashed my stock set and didn't want to pay $200 for another set. I am hoping someone makes a heavier set of scale looking glass blades at a reasonable price but no luck so far. I did not use any spacers to mount these blades and they seem to be working well.

VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Job Dan..... and Emile for the flight!!!!
Looks great!!!!!!!!!
But I have to ask...... Emile, how did you like flying that two headed "wonder"????????????????????????

I have to agree that the stock blades are a little pricey... but they do fly well..... I am on set number "3" but in two full seasons of flying, that doesn't hurt too bad at all......

Move "that" point on the throttle curve up a LITTLE more so that you will not have that hesitation when coming in..... actually I am running in gov mode on mine and have not had that sort of a problem at all....

NICE JOB and great being able to see it actually go here on RR!!!!!!!!!

Happy and Safe Holidays To All!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

Stan
