You're aboslutely right Monkey nuts. You need your wits about you to fly here. We are on top of a hill by the sea as you can see so we do suffer with the wind a fair bit

Windy site

This site is on the top of a cliff, look out to the S West and the next country is Brazil, This site teaches everybody to fly in the wind, you have to or you would miss out on a lot of flying days, even my young learner Ben,will practice in 20 plus MPH winds
Some of the good things about this site, it is free, there is coffee and tea on tap, Any 3rd party insurance is valid, all thanks to CJ's hospitality
To finish, the site is always being visited by full size, a rare treat for most scale model pilots

Phil
I must admit I could have done with a wider angle lens to keep you both in shot.

You try keeping up with a jet powered 500

Dave, Thanks for the video, unfortunatly it will be the last for a while, the 500 has gone to a new owner, he said he would bring it to Charmouth if the weather is fine,
CJ, in MY opinion he was keeping up with the better machine, we will have to wait until I finish the petrol Lame to get a pair of heli's more evenly matched
