Okay , I realy did not like the tail pitch slider hitting the tail pitch lever mounting plate . So , I did some tinkering and came up with a fix for it. I fly the Quick of Japan EP8`s and EP9`s, and the tail set-up is pretty much the same design. I took a tail pitch lever mounting plate and pitch lever off an EP8 Expert which is a little bit shorter(the tail pitch lever mounting plate), so now the pitch slider clears the mounting plate and the geometry is correct for full deflection in both directions. ...
In the first picture is the Bat 26cc tail pitch lever mounting plate held up to the Quick of Japan EP8 EX tail pitch lever mounting plate to show the difference in length.

No , the geometry of the lever is different than the stock one

The ball links on the bottom of the links that go from the swashplate to the upper mixing arms are hitting the 3 x M2X4 Phillips Screws that hold the bearing in the swashplate .Anyone run into this problem ?

Hey Jimbo,

We are using M2x4 flat head screws on the swashplates now. I must have missed that. I will drop a few in your box going out today. Just counter sink the holes in the swashplate and you will be good to go.

carb

if you have two nipples on carb one is a return line the other is a fuel in line you will have a vent line also. the vent line should be the one that is bent up to almost to the top of the tank inside. the fuel in should the one where the thumb primer is. the return is the one on the oppiset side of carb.

Should be a "conventional" setup (no muffler pressure, though)...just like with your nitro motors..... Nipple on the carb to the fuel pick up on the tank and then the other line on the tank is your vent..... Some run a third "fill" line, but that is not mandatory....

Okay guys, I need help with the canopy. How do you mount this thing ?
I am stumped on this one. How do you get it around the muffler; or does it go between the pipe and the frame ? Also , what hardware do you use ? I do not have any stand-offs in the hardware????

I need to know the same thing. My kit does not have any mounting hardware ether, and the instrutions does not show how to mount it. I have a few parts missing from my kit.I'm going to call Irwin on the parts i need i know he will take care of it. I got a shipment from him today for a new fan(that i broke)i got the cnc blue alum fan. I also got my K&N airfilter and alum boom support. Jim is that your ignition mounted under the heli? I've been wondering where i was going to mount mine.

Okay , I just got my 680mm blades today!! Thank you Irwin!!!!!
These are realy nice blades; I like the airfoil on them and they are very stiff.Man , I realy can`t wait to fly this heli.
I am getting very close now . I can set up all of my pitch curves and throttle curves now . I got lucky when I set everything up by eye-ball. Full negative pitch is 15* degrees ; Full positive pitch is 15* degrees , and half stick is 0* degrees pitch. That is without any binding at all. AWSOME!!!!
I guess I will set the head up with 11* degrees pitch , positive and negative in Idle up 1 ; Normal around 11* positive and 3*degrees negative. Hold , 12* positive , 5* degrees negative....
Here are some pics of the blades. Realy some nice blades. Thank you again Irwin and Jon at QWW. You guys have realy helped me out tremendously. Awsome customer service from QWW.
