My Posts This: Topic Forum | Whats happening here is that the entire 'weight' of your helicopter and all that expensive kit is quite literally is hanging on that little tiny shaft... and it's not enough. It's failed once and it's going to do it again. You are going to have to bin that component and come up with a much, much better item and retro fit it. An hour 30 is a very short time to a failiure, this means that this part is massively overstressed. Now it's true that this could be a one off and that particular shaft was faulty, but I'm sure you will agree that given the nature of this most basic component, that is very unlikely. But hey it's not all doom and gloom, it can easily be improved and made to work. However just a note of caution, that stress will be transferred into other components... keep an eye out for the next issue that will most certainly be drivetrain related. That said this may be the only serious weakness and the rest will be plain sailing.. or rather flying from here on.
