I think a lot of us as well forget that Synergy and other companies do not have an entire factory at their disposal like Align and all their own in house machines to make everything with. I have been flying a N9 for 2 years now and did not know the company was that small though.

Thanks for the info and your work,

Norman Ross Jr.

Also thank you for all the hard work Todd and Matt. To bring us a good product that I have enjoyed since the beginning.

I think I am 90% sure I'll get one. I love flying my N9 so much that I don't want to take time away from that.

There are alot of pictures but rumor has it that the canopy is being re-worked. I hope it's true because it's butt ugly in my opinion. Matt and Syn need to make it as close to the N9 as possible.

i totally agree Mr Ghostrider, part of owning a heli is looking at it at home/anywhere, mine live in my bedroom and are always in sight so the thought of looking at a canopy that resembles the gut that hangs from underside of a womans chin doesnt give me wood. Quite simply Synergy a baby version of your N9 canopy would be perfect. You had it right the first time around. Thanks Mr Ghostrider for the pics, fingers crossed for a different canopy.

I agree, the canopy is ugly. The machine is a work of art, but I would have to get an aftermarket canopy (assuming they will exist).

Needs to look as much like the N9 as possible.

Looks like an N9 canopy shrunk and leaned back.

Doesn't look that bad, but the leaned back look isn't working for me.

That heli flies *SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO* good.

I would hate to see it be an epic failure due to a fugly canopy. I know I buy on looks just as much as performance.

It hasn't been "due" yet, so it really can't be "over due". No release date has been announced by the company.

Matt told me that the only thing being reworked on the canopy is to reduce weight, and it's going to be white in the kit.

I wish I could fly 24/7

oh well thats the end of that debate. Either the camera doesnt do it justice or Synergy know what there doing but whichever way you look at it, no matter what anyone says, its gonna turn out as the manufacturer intended. The thought of owning a "baby N9" really had me excited, im just hoping that this will be the case.

Just curious, how could you be disappointed to not be able to buy something that doesn't exist? Sounds like your assumptions are to blame here, not a vendor.

Huh? I think the anticipation is warranted, because everyone on this thread is excited about the model and its release. As a whole, very few knocked Synergy. The N5 release has been fueled by posts like "I talked to Matt the other day", like the poster is a good buddy and would have any real info. Well that's fine, and that is all anyone has gone by so far. It has been said it will be released going back to early this year if not sooner all along. So the rumours grew legs and took a life of its own. This thread since 11-27-2008 at 12:16pm has had 14383 viewings, so there is alot of interest.

You guys are negatively rewarding a vendors pre-release information and excitement. The only thing that will result is that vendors will just keep tight lipped about upcoming products.

I may be wrong, but I think you guys positively rewarded a vendors pre-release info. But then how can one do so when what we anticipate doesn't exist.
