IRCHA 09 of the N5 with Canopy

I found a video of the N5 with canopy flown by Mr. Botos himself at IRCHA 2009. It almost was creamed by a mid air!

Remember it's the man behind the sticks.

I'm pretty sure it is an OS50 Hyper, at approximately 2100RPM. I'm guessing on the RPM, but is realistic.

Just makes me want to give it up there is no way I will ever be able to fly like that. Nice flying.

On the other hand must practice more.

Yes it is a SO50 hyper, brand new just for the IRCHA event. Everything on his bird is stock except for the main blade grips. He said that the engine is much easier to slip out than the N9, and the canopy which should be white in the kit.

I wish I could fly 24/7

I don't know, that motor sounded sweet. It did not seem like he could bog it either.

I need one!

Well, as I said before...

Also the sound you hear is the the unique sound of the Synergy's gears, frame resonation, and rotor harmonics. I love this sound, and I think it is very cool how the N5 sounds like a small N9 (as it should). Great job, Matt.

Or just a guy who flies 6 days a week.

IRCHA 09 of the N5 with Canopy

Is that the 'stock' canopy? it looks too big for the air-frame ?? Even my wife said it didn't look right, and she knows nothing of model helicopters.

We talked about this in another post and I completely agree with you! Take a look at the picture below, it's definately not like the beautiful N9 canopy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

+1 for a REDESIGN of that ugly pelican canopy!

Nose should be longer and down.
The wings shorter.

I know it is a matter of personal taste.
But why releasing a great machine without a really sharp and sexy canopy?

Come on Synergy!
If YOU are not doing it all the aftermarket companies will. That`s for sure...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+2 Definately needs more of a downward angle on the windshield, more like the N9. That pelican look has to go!

Anybody know when this thing will be out?
