My Posts This: Topic Forum | Just came in from trying the Raptor 30 V2 with 2 1/2 lbs added weight which is my fuselage weight . [drum roll] Can it lift the weight, Yes. Does it work a bit to do so, again, yes. I checked the temp after about 5 minutes of flight without the weight and got 180F at the back plate. I added the weight and did the same and it was 228F at the back plate. This is in a boom and pod configuration which is quite open. In a fuselage it is bound to be more. It does bog a bit when you hit the throttle although it did climb. So now I know. I guess a .50 engine with 600 blades would be better. I think I'll have to upgrade the engine and blade size to put it in this fuselage. If I can just hide the stuff from my wife.
