I have set it up for now to use the Raptor handing struts but would like to change it later to scale struts after I find out if everything is going to work. Let you know.

Remember when you were a kid and all the kit had the parts just printed on the balsa and you had to cut them all out. That is what building this reminds me of while building. And Ambroid glue, I think that's how you spell it, was all you had. Ops, showing my age.

Thanks Seaviper; getting it little by little. Have a lot of the main parts done. Have to make a counter shaft for my belt drive so I can figure out the length of the short belt I need. I think that will be the next move. Thanks.

Posting some more pictures, did a little not to much more. Did some on the rocket tubes and made a counter shaft for the belt drive. Did some work on the linkage for the tail rotor. Pictures are poor and have to change my link ends to ball links but you may get the idea of what in am trying to do.javascripjavascript:%20view(3,'/fastphoto/57743/PICT0018-1.jpg't:%20view(4,'/fastphjavascript:%20view(2,'/fastphoto/57743/PICT0019.jpg'oto/57743/PICT0017.jpg'javascript:%20view(1,'/fastphoto/57743/PICT0020.jpg'

Have not posted in a while, other things always seem to come up. Did get to put fiberglass cloth and epoxy on my fuselage. Have a few little dings to spot, not much. Show up good when the primer is wet. Going good so far. Have a question. I was thinking of just using epoxy on the doghouse and cockpit area. Any opinions on this.

Thanks FenderBean. Takes a bit of time, more than I thought. Don't get to work on it all the time. Harder to fit the Raptor nitro mechanics. Would be an easier fit with electric. Thanks.

those louvers do nothing on that panel. behind that panel is the aircraft battery and some electrical items. the fastners in that panel are quick-release dzus fastners. that panel comes off regularly when dealing with the battery. the battery sometimes get changed out alot. not all cobra models have louvers on that particular access panel. (worked on cobras in the army 86-89)

That Panel is easily made from CardStock. Simply cut out the shape and use an exacto knife for the slots, then bend them slightly and paint! Its that easy ...
