FXaeromodels.com = Fooling Business

I tried calling FXaeromodels.com by phone. They didn't answer the phone. I left messages but as of today they still have not returned my calls. I sent them e-mails and they never replied back. They shipped the package and have all the shipping receipts and documents to file the insurance claim. This stupid company probably didn't insure the package and that's why they have done nothing to resolve the problem. Can someone please contact this company on my behalf and ask them to respond to my concerns. Thanks.

I just spent $1000 plus there and had no issues. Great communication and attention to detail, not to mention a great packaging job...above and beyond even to my high standards.

SSe444087 give the guy a break

FXaeromodels may not be to blame but they should do the right thing by keeping in touch with the purchasers and make the dam claim. People are quick to take money but when something goes wrong its a push off to someone else and a slow down and you have to do the chase because they don't want to do the leg work and that's BULL SH@T and everyone can say what ever they want who's the best, I have had no problems with so & so, I have received every box shipped, yea well some people didn't get there package and the matter of how many posts this guy has that is irrelevant he can say what ever he wants 1 post or 10,000, senior heli man or newbe treat him right when your on the other end getting it stuck up your a$$ by USPS you will see how it feels, it sucks. Until it happens to you, you will not know how it feels, give the guy a break.

I agree with simages. fxaeromodels has given me great service.

I ordered a Kontronik ESC from them this monday and I received my order today. When I initially called them to check stock before placing my order, I had to leave a message. Within an hour, they called me back and the order was placed.

What more can one expect?

Perhaps you should try being polite. You'd just be amazed how much farther that will get you.

Good Company

I have ordered several items from FX and have never had an issue. They were always post-haste to ensure my satisfaction. A bad call to come on here with out exhausting all options first!

fxaeromodels sent me some bits and a gyro was missing. Now here's my point. I phoned and had a polite conversation and the issue was resolved there and then and a new gyro dispatched at their cost. I have nothing but praise for their response and speed.
When I read the first post the first thing that occured to me was that it was very aggressive. just my 2 cent's/euro's or penneth.
You might of had a raw deal but fxaeromodel's didn't set out to rip you off. That was obviously done by some other w**k*r.

The older i get the faster i was

I have been reading everyone's posts and most of you are off track some of you are rude and have inappropriate comments about the person with the problem.
Ok you have had great experiences with no problems when you get your goods from FXaeromodels, good for you, you should be happy. What if you didn't get it where do you start with this problem ? think about it, I guess you just suck it up and say my loss. Its not the parts missing from a kit that was resolved from them or you never had a problem or complaint with them, or that it was shipped perfect in 2 days never had a problem. Its the parts were stolen by the shipping company that was used, and true they are responsible, as is the sender also. Whether you like to hear this or not, they sent it make the Fu@king claim with the post office end of story they are now involved whether they like it or not. If it was not insured then they need to eat it. And calling him a cry babe and a whiner now that's BS by stating that you make your self sound like an ass picking on someone who's got a legit gripe. They need to get off there ass and make the claim. It came from them, now they have to take a break in there busy business life and do the right thing for the one guy who got screwed by the post office/shipper, but it has to start with the people it came from. They should be handling the problem not the purchaser, and not wait for the out come to be reimbursed, send a new one and the seller needs to deal with the problem, it may not be there fault but it needs to start with them. If your in the business that you ship all day long your going to face these problems.

Two thumbs way down for FXaeromodels.com

I totally agree with the posts by mopardan. As of today FXaeromodels still have done absolutely nothing to resolve the shipping issue. They refused to file a missing item claim with USPS and also refuse to issue me a refund for the missing items. I sent them more than 10 e-mails and also called them numerous times by telephone but they have not responded or returned any of my calls. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from FXaeromodels.com and don't say nobody warn you.

Credit Card?

If you paid by credit card you can file a complaint with them. You will have to show them your attempts to work it out with the hobby shop and then they will give a credit to you and work with the shop. The CC company can reach in and remove funds from the shop's accounts. (sort of) I only use this as a last resort but it is why I use CC for everything.

I agree with mopardan! I had the same problem when I posted about another online seller. (I don't mention the name as it was long ago and not relevant here.) When I posted about the problem everyone wanted to jump my butt because I said something bad about the company they liked.

From what has been posted the new guy has tried to work it out to no avail. Everyone who posted here that they had a good experience should call the shop and ask what happened! That would probably get it resolved!

No,No..The other left!

Bottom line is Did they offer you insurance? If that Was an option and you refused to pay for it then it's on you ... Not them.
On the other side of the coin, if they DID NOT Offer insurance and it's not an OPTION on thier website then I think they should at least work out something with you ...

FXaeromodels

I've read the thread on this and the proper way to handle this is to:

1. Contact your credit card company or bank and file a compliant.

2. They will send you an affidavit for you to fill out guaranteeing that you did not receive the product and then issue you a credit.

3. Have the courtesy to contact FXaeromodels, and inform them that you have filed a compliant with your credit card company.

4. Order the product from someone else and save the airwaves here for those of us that are learning and receiving incredible input from others interested in this exciting hobby.

WOW!!!!!

Give this guy a break, PLEASE... I agree with MOPARDAN.the company has a responsibility to its customers. They claim great service and they need to provide it no matter what. If the customer has a complaint deal with it and be done with it. Stuff happens. The bottom line is that there is a problem and they should at least make an attempt to fix it.It seem like they just don't want to be bothered. You can have thousands of perfect transactions, but its the one bad one that everyone remembers. FX should at the very least initiate the claim with the USPS, and if the customer has to wait till its settled to get his merchandise so be it, but at least something is being done. This guy came here to vent and to get advice not to get trashed because you got great service from FX.also telling him how great FX is offers no consolation to the guy that has the problem.I feel for this guy and hope that FX steps up and helps him out. The true measure of a companys worth, is their willingness to solve problems with customers in a timely manner. Good service is not an option its a requirement....

Just my 2 cents.
Regards Eric G.

The whole problem with this thread is who do we trust? There are some people here that will order from a company , then deny receiving product after its arrived at the door. Then there are others that will try to create the illusion that they have been ripped off by taking product out of box and claiming to have not received anything. Theres also a possiblity someone tampered with it during transit or a family member/room mate could have stolen the products too.

FXA should file a claim regardless. That way if mail fraud can be proven someone will go to jail OR someone gets their money back. This guy should file a claim through payment service too to speed FXA up in doing something.

I've personally picked up products from the owners of FXA's home in hillsborough. Very nice people.. Basically a family running the biz. I think they try very hard to satisfy everyone by shipping out quick but they have no clue what to do with situations like this because its outside their normal standard operating procedures.

im gonna support the hobby shop with whom many people are satisfied, not the phantom RR poster who's only contribution to RR is to slander an upstanding shop. read his post history, the only posts relate to his "bad" ordeal.

Dave75d has a point

I dont think a strong case for support has been made by SSe44087 in this instance.

Only posts by that user ever have been these ones, and the account name looks like it was made by just wildly hitting the keyboard (note the shift key is close the SS, which are close the e44, and 087 hit by the right hand).

So, somewhat diminished credibility for the poster because of account background, and a long line of support for the credibility of FX. No other negative posts on FX.

Looks like a case of a new account just to bag FX, then nothing. Poster may indeed have a legitimate case, but could have done it a bit better to give it mor credibility and get broader support.

Maybe...but this is off topics and you came here willingly. Off topics is not used to discuss the learning curve. If you dont like what you read then stay out of OT.

As for the OP. I agree that this sounds like he just signed up to vent, bash or whatever. It could have been handled better. I dont know anything about the company in question but he wont influence if I buy from them or not.

Sure there's more than one way to skin a cat, but only one way thats funny every time.
