Stolen? Missing Helis or Equip > WARNING! BEWARE of FXaeromodels.com

Ordered a motor and speed controller from FXaeromodels.com. When I opened the package, the only items inside were the original motor box and packaging material. The motor and speed controller was not in the package. I closely examined the tape on the lid of the package and noticed there was clear tape on top of the Priority Mail tape. I brought the package to the post office and showed them the tampering of the package. The clerk told me to ask the Fxaeromodels to file a claim for the missing items. I e-mailed Fxaeromodels several times asking them to file a claim with the post office. But as of today Fxaeromodels still has not responded to any of my e-mails.

Sorry about your problems ..... BUT,

It's clearly not FXaeromodels' fault your package was tampered with while in transit....

Emailing a company is often times a BAD way to attempt to reach them....Although I do agree that if they have an email option on their website like they do, they should be responsible and answer emails.

Have you tried phoning them at 510-429-1083 ? That number is listed on their website......I would not be surprised if you get an aswer over the phone right away....

I've never done business with this outfit nor do I know the owner or anyone else but to come here and attempt to slander them because you didn't get an email response is not cool....Specially when it looks like you joined RR (or signed up with another user ID) just to slander them.....this just happens to be your first post.....

Again, not cool.....

Sorry about your problems ..... BUT,
I agree with comments from JuanRodriguez as well However; I have dealt with FXaeromodels' and they are IMO top notch and they've never let me down. I've always received satisfactory written correspondence so, I've never had to call them and have not experienced your situation of "lost in transit" either.

Only once with GolfSmith and UPS did I receive an empty package, but they simply sent my order again and filed a claim.

Call them and explain the situation, see what they say.....

Also; when you sent an email did you place a delivery receipt and read option on the message?

I just saw this post tonight and I'm behind on the timeline, but I have nothing but praise for FXaeromodels. More then once then have shipped my orders on tight deadlines and provided really good service often going out of their way to help me.
If I needed to spend $10,000.00 on heli equipment right now I would have no second guessing about ordering from them tonight.
Unfortunately, I want to spend $10,000.00, but I don't need to spend it because I've already done it!
This is something that happened after it left their hands and you are wrong to try to slander them in this "hotheaded" manor, but it looks as if this is over and done with unless you want to update us on the results of talking with FXaeromodels.

FXA = Slow Response

This issue is still not over. I requested FXA to file a claim with the post office on 11/5. It took FXA 12 days to respond and they requested photos of the shipping box on 11/17. The pictures were provided to FXA on 11/20 and I again requested them to file a claim with the post office. FXA did not respond to that e-mail. I had to forward that e-mail to them 3 times and they eventually responded on 11/30. It took FXA 10 days to respond and their response below shows how slow and poor their customer service really is when you are experiencing a problem with your order. They did not even showed the pictures I provided them way back on 11/20 to the post office to initiate the claim. They wasted 10 days doing nothing to help resolve the issue. FXA will provide good service when you place an order with them. But once you have a problem with your order then you will receive poor customer service and slow or even no response from FXA.

FXA 11/30 response:

"We need to call the claim dept at post office and send them the pictures of the box that you sent us. She only works on Monday to Friday before 12:30p.m. We will call her first and show her the photos that you email us. We have to wait for post office claim dept".

Best regards,FXA

You are not the only customer, give them a break. They have no control of the package once it leaves their hands.

Top shop

Have had great dealings with them, even all the way over here in Aus.

Email dealings all answered quickly, items shipped quickly, any chargings on shipping minimised. For some reason the worst thing about ordering from America is the killer postage rates, but they minimised shipping costs by just sending by normal airmail, and then they gave me credit for the difference that was charged on their site. Can't get better or more honest than that.

So, I cant see how it was their fault for it being tampered with. There is also a risk to you in ordering through the post, which you may have to wear for choosing that form of procurement method.

Did you have to sign for the package?

FXA provides great customer service when there is a problem. Mavis bends over backwards to get it straightened out.

Perhaps your attitude and actions with them being the reason that are acting too slow for your package???

as it has been said, we are only seeing your side of the story on here.

I just ordered some equipment from FX. They shipped it so fast I am still wondering how that happened. FX is now definitely one of my suppliers.

FXaeromodels = Poor Customer Service

I called FXA a few weeks ago. The woman gave me the runaround and told me she called the post office and left a message but the post office have not return their call. Last week I received an e-mail from FXA telling me they will not issue me a refund because they believe the items were delivered intact. I don't care what they believe. The package was delivered to me in a rifled and tampered condition. They need to take the initiative and do something about it like a good company would do instead of ignoring my e-mails and pretend the problem never happened. They have ignored my e-mails long enough and all of a sudden they have the guts to respond and tell me they are not going to issue me a refund and I have to pay for the missing items and their mistake too?? What the hell is wrong with this company?? They scrimped on shipping and chose to ship the package to me by the cheapest carrier possible and that is Postal Service. They sent it now they should fix it. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by FXA is FXA's responsibility and not mine. They provide poor customer service and don't resolve shipping damage issues. I have e-mailed them everyday since last Saturday asking them if the post office returned their call reqarding the claim. But as usual they have not responded to any of my e-mails since last Saturday. This fooling business has the worst customer service of all the RC model companies I have ever dealt with. This is truly the worst of all worst customer service provided by the worst RC model company on earth.

Grow up. Another dork for the ignore list.

In defense of SSe444087 - the box was more then messed up.....The items he ordered were missing when he opened the package, the only items inside were the original motor box and packaging material.

It's unfortunate and I'm surprised this is still not resolved. I assume that the package was left in your mailbox and you couldn't refuse the "light box" delivery..... it's a tough one and certainly hard to swallow at the receiving end....
