I wouldn't expect anything but a middle of the night flight.

when I had a cf-30, I had a gyro on roll ( since it's not a modified servo), which worked pretty well.

very smooth!

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

woh... there's that part... on my mount, I didn't have the curved metal between the front and back plates, I just had spacers.

Thanks Chris. Ya I feel vibe free right now... LOL I'm definitely liking the flybar. Glad I went back to it. A lot smoother.

Victor thanks for the reminder on the flybar weights. I actually got rid of the MJ paddles and weights I had and installed the Raptor paddles. They're heavier on its own compared to the combined weight of the MJ paddles and flybar-weights I had on. Waitin on newer flybar weights to arrive. I was using the incorrect size but worked for the time being.

Rhett the CF-30 came like this. The spacers are still there. Initially I installed the wires on the outside. Now they're underneath the plates. Cleaner.

Looks good, I have been thinking about trying those Eni dine rope dampeners.
Looks like they are worth a try.

You should go fly-bar-less. I was surprised how much noise and vibration came from the flybar. Some thing you don't know till it is removed. My next step is to Dynamic balance the main and tail rotors. I will be using full scale balancing equipment. My goal is to take video with out isolator. Here is a little vid I put together demoing the latest machine. Currently I still have some small vibrations.

By the way, very nice looking machine

Keep It up.

This IS smooth!
And it looks beautiful

Wonder what it would look like if it was hardmounted on the airframe? Has anybody tested to change the RPM when watching the AV-out? Can it be used as a guide for minimizing the vibrations?

I tested my AirFoil Mini pro1 with a Canon Ixus 860IS (that´s the name in Europe). Movieformat - 640 x 480 px 30 f/sec, IS mode off (stabilizing). No good result Our Maxi Joker v1 is just vibrating too much and my flying is not nice at all - yet. It takes a lot of airtime and simtime to get there. Will do more balance work and retry...

Pery, im on it now, but havent had time to test it yet, adjusting thr from 1200 to 1450 with one of the tx sliders, and record the video with OSD on it to see what rpm gives less vibes

RPM makes a difference there are harmonic that will aggravates vibration issues as well I have seen vibration from thing like pool noodles. I attribute this to rotor wash contacting these items as it rotates above directing air pulse down ward.

You may be correct on the blade size; all my machines are still well below the 700mm size. Noise I ref to is not on my AP machine but on the ever day machine. The one I play with. I call it the test bed. When I was torque-ing it around with the fly bar there is a normal chopping sound that I assumed was the blades. Flybarless system seem to quiet the source of that sound.

On one of my high viability landing gear I found that the noodle had picked up some vibration form the down wash. Some thing an under slug system would not be subjected to. If removed the noodles the vibration went away.

I was looking at the landing gear you had on your machine. Are happy with the operation? The only reason I ask is I have had good luck with the box frame set up to heighten my machines. It also becomes a good battery/electronics storage place and the stock landing gear bolt on. I could give you hand if required.
